Can you actually tell if a girl is a virgin?

I believe there is no real way to know a girl is a virgin, I also heard that if a lady has not had sex for a long time the virgina will close up and can even feel as if she has not had sex before.

Also not all women have hymen, and not all bleed when they have sex first time.

How do you tell she never did it before?
