Being yourself isn't an excuse to remain rude, inconsiderate, disrespectful, or difficult to deal with. Even things like not knowing how to read the room, constantly interrupting people, being unnecessarily blunt, or not knowing when to tone things down are things you can work on.My dad would always say something that stuck with me: when more than three people complain about the same thing about you, it's definitely worth giving it some thought. It doesn't mean they're automatically right. But if different people, at different times, are pointing out the same behaviour, maybe it's worth looking inward instead of always saying, “That's just who I am.”You can be yourself and still grow. You can be outspoken and still learn when to speak. You can be confident and still learn how to read the room. So, know when to be yourself and when to work on yourself.Peace ✌️
