Medulla Oblongata

Post image
The medulla oblongata is the lower half of your brainstem that connects the brain directly to the spinal cord.

It acts as an automatic control center, keeping you alive by managing breathing, heart rate, and blood pressure.

It also handles involuntary survival reflexes like swallowing, coughing, sneezing, and vomiting without you thinking.

But we Nigerians have our own meaning 😂
